Stater Bros. to complete 11 supermarket remodels

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Stater Bros. Markets Inc. has remodeled nine of its Southern California supermarkets over the past several months, with two more slated for completion in early December.

The makeovers include a modernized décor, wider aisles and a larger assortment of food items that combine to make the stores look and feel larger, although their square footage is unchanged. The company has also installed new energy-efficient refrigerated cases and freezers in the revamped units.
