"Tim is an exceptional leader, and we are pleased he has agreed to lead our Delta division."
Brown began his Kroger career as a bagger at the age of 17 and joined the grocer’s management training program in 1981.
He has served in leadership positions in merchandising and operations in seven of Kroger’s retail divisions and at the headquarters in Cincinnati.
In other moves, Kroger has appointed Suzanne Lindsay as director of sustainability. She previously created and led sustainability initiatives at PetSmart Inc.
