Shopko taps Cooper to oversee marketing

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Shopko Stores Operating Co. has appointed Michael Cooper to the position of senior vice president of marketing. He reports to Jill Soltau, president and chief merchandising officer.
In his new role Cooper will be responsible for Shopko’s branding strategy and marketing initiatives. He joins the regional discount chain from Office Depot Inc., where he most recently was vice president of marketing.
