BI-LO, Winn-Dixie freeze prices

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Bi-Lo Holdings has instituted a 10-week price freeze on hundreds of items at its BI-LO and Winn-Dixie chains.

"We are working hard to provide our customers the products they want at prices they can afford," said Mary Kellmanson, BI-LO and Winn-Dixie’s senior vice president of marketing. "Add a great selection of high-quality products, combined with extra attention to customer service, and we believe we’ve made shopping better and more affordable for our customers."

Initial price freezes coincided with the back-to-school season. Prices were frozen on products in every store department, from Dove soap to Hormel cooked ham.

Also, BI-LO customers are taking the company’s fuelperks! savings to a new level and crowing on Facebook and Twitter with posts and pictures showing how they pay less than 10 cents per gallon to fill up their gas tanks. Wishing to reward those customers and incent others to join the program, BI-LO has launched the Dollar Tank Club and offered more than 1,100 products tied to fuelperks! Bonus Rewards.
