NEW YORK — Mass Market Retailers on Tuesday evening honored the outstanding executives who were chosen as the publication’s Six Who Made a Difference in 2017.

On hand to receive awards were the following executives:

  • Paul Desiderioscioli, Vice President of Merchandising, Mass and Private Label, at Ulta Beauty.
  • Rona Fourte, Director of Supplier Diversity at Walgreens.
  • Cia Tucci, Vice President, Store Brands and Quality Assurance, at CVS Health.
  • Ted Williams, Vice President, General Merchandise and Seasonal, at Rite Aid.

The four were featured in the October 30 issue of MMR, which profiled a half-dozen retail executives who stood out over the past year for their contributions to their companies. Also featured were Mark Panzer, Senior Vice President, Pharmacy, Health and Wellness, at Albertsons Cos., and Mark Tritton, Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer, at Target Corp.

The awards presentation and reception drew retailer and supplier executives from across the food, drug and mass channels to a ballroom at the new headquarters of Time Inc. in lower Manhattan, located just blocks away from the World Trade Center “Freedom Tower.”
