Publix promotes DiBenedetto to VP

LAKELAND, Fla. – Publix Super Markets Inc. has promoted Joseph DiBenedetto to vice president of its Atlanta division, effective January 1, 2011.

DiBenedetto began his career at the chain as a front-service clerk in 1975 and became a store manager in 1986.

He was promoted to district manager in 1992, and became a regional director in the Atlanta division in June 1995.
