Shopko Stores Operating Co. has promoted Jill Soltau to the positions of president and chief merchandising officer.

Meijer names Symancyk as president

Meijer has appointed chief operating officer J.K. Symancyk as president of the company, taking over from Mark Murray, who has been named to the newly formed position of co-chief executive officer.

Executive changes at Walmart International

Walmart has named Enrique Ostale president and chief executive officer of Walmart Latin America, to replace Eduardo Solorzano, who will retire from those posts on March 1. He will remain chairman of the board of Walmart Mexico.
