New Lander bath, hair items to hit Rite Aid shelves
June 1st, 2010
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Brands LLC's Lander beauty brand this month plans to roll out its new line of 64-ounce bubble baths, shampoos, and men's and women's body washes at 751 Rite Aid drug stores on the West Coast.
Grand Brands said the product line will feature several new additions created exclusively for Rite Aid, including new label designs and a convenient hand pump. It will also be the first time the brand's shampoo and body washes are available in a 64-ounce size and mark the debut of the brand's new Lander Men's Body Wash.
"Customers have been continuously asking for the 64-ounce Lander Bubble Bath in California and other Western states," Grand Brands chief executive Susan Hunt said in a statement. "They love the natural ingredients in our products, like the real honey and milk we use compared with other value brand options on the market. In addition, all our bubble bath products are made in the U.S. and are of the highest quality."
The entire range of Lander products being introduced at Rite Aid will be offered in a 64-ounce size, Grand Brands added. The bubble bath fragrances include Sugared Vanilla, Milk & Honey, Cucumber Melon and Lavender & Chamomile. The women's body wash scents feature Orange Ginger, Fresh Lavender, Coconut and Vanilla Creme Caramel, while the men's body wash is available in a Sport or Ocean Scent.
The Lander shampoos to be sold at Rite Aid include the brand's Clarifying formula, Cucumber Melon and Ocean Breeze.
"These offerings are the best value in the market and fill the increasing consumer demand for high-value products," stated James Schmelter, senior vice president of sales for Grand Brands. "In addition to bringing our popular bubble bath back to the West Coast, we worked closely with Rite Aid to develop the shampoo and body wash products, which offer the same quality and value to consumers."
