Walmart teams with Natrol on women's vitamin section

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Walmart has joined forces with Natrol Inc. to offer a special assortment of nutritional supplements aimed at women.

The discount store giant is expanding its U.S. in-store vitamin offerings with a new grouping of 10 Natrol nutraceuticals formulated to address the health needs of women at various stages of their lives, Natrol said Thursday.

Called Natrol for Women, the grouping will be available in the vitamin section of Walmart stores beginning this month, with the average in-store pricing per product at $4 to $10.

"Natrol understands the unique health needs for women at various life stages, and the new Natrol for Women section at Walmart provides a grouped selection of quality Natrol dietary supplements for women's health and well-being," commented Amy Fitzpatrick, Natrol's corporate dietitian.

Among the products on offer is Natrol's newest iron supplement, Iron 18 mg (90 tablets),  formulated to promote energy. 

"For over 30 years, generations of women have trusted Natrol products for beauty care, PMS, pregnancy, menopause and post-menopause," Fitzpatrick added. "Natrol understands the unique health needs for women at various life stages, and the new Natrol for Women section at Walmart provides a grouped selection of quality Natrol dietary supplements for women's health and well-being."
