Kodak products win kudos

November 10th, 2010

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two Eastman Kodak Co. products won awards for innovation from the International Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).

The Kodak Playsport video camera, a waterproof and pocket-sized device that records high-definition video, won an Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Award from the CEA, as did the Kodak Pulse digital picture frame, which features Wi-Fi connectivity and its own customizable email address, and connects to the Facebook and Kodak Gallery web sites. The Playsport video camera also won a Best of Innovations Award.

Both products will be displayed at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show, which is set for January 6 through January 9 in Las Vegas.

"Kodak is committed to delivering innovative products that make it easy and fun for consumers to share their pictures and videos and stay connected to friends and family," said John Blake, Kodak vice president and the general manager for digital capture and devices. "We appreciate this recognition of Kodak innovation across our product portfolio."
