NEW YORK — Kao USA Inc.’s Bioré Skincare brand has launched its limited-edition Citrus Crush Deep Cleansing Pore Strips.

Infused with a citrus scent, the strips work like a magnet to lift out grime, oil and blackheads inside clogged pores, the company said. Each strip is specially shaped to follow the contours of the nose so proprietary C-bond technology can lift impurities and debris from every pore. The strips are lightly scented.

The company said that to support the launch of the product, it is teaming up with Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation that mobilizes girls and women worldwide to raise awareness and funds for U.N. programs that help adolescent girls in need.

With actress and brand ambassador Shay Mitchell supporting the partnership, Bioré Skincare’s donation will go toward constructing classrooms in Uganda to increase refugee girls’ school enrollment and quality of learning by addressing overcrowded classes.

Available for a limited time through November 2018, the Citrus Crush Deep Cleansing Pore Strips are selling for a suggested $6.49 at select food, drug and mass retail stores.
