CVS Caremark Corp. has shifted several executives into new roles.

Vice president of consumer health care merchandising Jim Trappani has left the company, and vice president and merchandise manager for store brands and photo Grant Pill has added most of Trappani’s role to his list of responsibilities.

Additionally, Mike McEnany, who had been divisional merchandising manager for consumables, has been promoted to vice president of merchandising, consumables and multicultural, and divisional merchandising manager for general merchandise.

Divisional merchandising manager for general merchandise and seasonal Greg Froton has been named vice president of merchandising, general merchandise and international sourcing.

Meanwhile, former UnitedHealthcare executive Randy Falkenrath, who has spent the past nine months as part of CVS’ Specialty Field Operations group, been named senior vice president of specialty pharmacy.

The appointments come on the heels of last month’s announcement that CVS Caremark had hired Kevin Murphy, previously a partner in Mercer Human Resource Consulting, to head its Accordant Health Services unit.
