WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Pharmacy has extended its CarePass paid membership loyalty program across the country.
Consumers can join CarePass on a month-to-month basis for $5 a month, or obtain a discounted annual membership for a fee of $48. Benefits include:
• Free one- to two-day day delivery on qualifying prescriptions and most purchases made on cvs.com. No minimum purchase is required.
• Access to a 24/7 help line through which members can speak live with a pharmacist who has secure access to their prescription history with CVS Pharmacy. The pharmacist can answer questions about medications and refer members to additional tools, resources and services that might be helpful.
• Discounts of 20% on certain CVS Health brand products. Eligible categories include over-the-counter medications, vitamins and supplements, and personal care. The benefit is available on the member’s ExtraCare loyalty card and can be used either in-store or online at CVS.com.
• A $10 monthly promotional reward that can be used on many items in-store or online. The reward is automatically added to the member’s ExtraCare card at the start of each monthly cycle and expires at the end of each cycle.
In addition, CarePass members receive a variety of surprise perks and bonus offers that are made available at various times throughout the year. For example, members recently received the right to a complimentary sports physical at their local MinuteClinic.
Plans call for the program to continue to evolve, adding new services and exclusive offerings in the future.
