MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Fred’s Inc. is promising its customers “more merry for less” this holiday season, offering seasonal sales, exclusive coupons, discounts and promotions.

The retailer says all its stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, and will hold sales on Black Friday and on Saturday.

“We’re committed to offering our customers low prices on everyday essentials while being the perfect one-stop shop for their holiday shopping and entertaining needs,” said Fred’s executive vice president and chief merchandising and marketing officer. “Knowing most family budgets are stretched over the holiday season, we work hard to maintain deep discounts and affordable prices and offer quality merchandise to our customers.”

From December 13 through Christmas Eve, Fred’s will hold one-day-only flash sales during its 12 Days of Christmas promotion.

The discount retailer and pharmacy operator says its stores can address most of its customer’s holiday and gift giving needs, including:
