Grocery Outlet adds 400th store

EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Grocery Outlet Holding Corp. on Thursday announced the opening of its 400th store and newest location in Hailey, Idaho.

The announcement of the 400th store comes as Grocery Outlet celebrates its 75th anniversary. To celebrate, the retailer is holding a diamond commemoration at all its stores, meaning that customers can expect to see “diamond deals” offering up to 75% off select items. The retailer also plans to offer throwback bargain deals and callbacks to some of the most unique bargains from throughout its history.

Grocery Outlet is also celebrating its second anniversary as a public company, having joined Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “GO” on June 20, 2019. Grocery Outlet said it also kicked off its 11th annual Independence from Hunger food bank donation campaign on June 23. That campaign has raised more than $11 million for local food banks across the country to date, according to the company.
