Listerine launches solid-to-liquid tablets

SKILLMAN, N.J — Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.’s Listerine brand is introducing Ready! Tabs Clean Mint solid-to-liquid tablets that are on-the-go breath fresheners lasting for up to four hours.

The company said the product works in three steps: 1) Chew for 10 seconds to transform the solid tablet to a liquid 2) Swish for 30 seconds and 3) Swallow. The tabs are specifically formulated to ingest and are made of food-grade ingredients.

“Now consumers can have a whole mouth clean feeling even if they’re not near a sink,” said Sissy Urista, senior commercial director of Listerine. “We’re changing the way consumers think about their everyday oral care routine with a revolutionary new form that’s completely new to the market so that we can make their on-the-go lifestyle easier.”

The Listerine Ready! Tabs rollout campaign includes custom digital programs, TV, social, professional, PR and in-store.

The tabs are currently available as an 8-pack selling for a suggested $2.99 at all mass food, drug and merchandise market retailers, as well as on Amazon in a 56-count.
