CARLISLE, Pa. — Robin Michel, president of the Giant-Landover division of Ahold USA, will step down by the end of the year to pursue other opportunities, according to the company.

Robin Michel, president of the Giant-Landover division of Ahold USA, will step down by the end of the year to pursue other opportunities, according to the company.

Michel joined Giant in 2008 from Roundy’s Supermarkets in Milwaukee and was named executive vice president and general manager in charge of the Giant-Landover segment, which encompasses 180 stores in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia.

Her duties will be handled by Don Sussman, executive vice president of supply chain for Ahold USA, until a successor is named.
