Executives say the deal, which adds several mouthwashes and toothpastes to Revive’s oral care portfolio, will make the company a stronger player in the oral care category.

“The Natural Dentist brand is a strategic fit for our expanding line of oral care products,” Revive president and chief operating officer Kelly Kaplan says, noting that recent conversations with dental professionals showed her how well-respected the brand is. “We anticipate many comarketing opportunities for these category-leading brands.”

As part of the transaction, Natural Dentist founder Bill Stern will become part of the Revive management team.

“It’s an exciting time at Revive,” Kaplan says. “We are building our portfolio of leading consumer health products, and we’re very excited to be adding a powerful brand like The Natural Dentist to the lineup.”
