INDIANAPOLIS — Thomas O’Boyle Jr. has been named chairman, president and chief executive officer at Marsh Supermarkets. O’Boyle recently resigned as executive vice president of merchandising, marketing, supply chain and logistics at A&P.

Scott King, senior managing director of Sun Capital Partners, an affiliate of which owns Marsh, calls O’Boyle an "outstanding senior executive who brings over 25 years of successful experience in supermarket merchandising and marketing to his new role."
