P&G expands Gain franchise

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble Co. has launched two new home care products: Gain Dishwashing Liquid and Febreze with Gain Original Scent.

Procter & Gamble Co. has launched two new home care products: Gain Dishwashing Liquid and Febreze with Gain Original Scent.

The former represents P&G’s first dishwashing brand launch in more than 37 years.

According to P&G, Gain has evolved into a megabrand based on the appeal of its scent, which has driven the brand’s previous expansion into the fabric softener and dryer sheet categories.

Support for the introductions will include targeted marketing to Hispanic consumers, as well as in-store visuals of the entire Gain product line including shelf strips, neck hangers and end cap displays.
