RONKONKOMA, N.Y. — Piping Rock Health Products said it is planning to open a new 330,000 square foot facility in Aurora, Ohio, this summer.

“The Ohio location was carefully chosen to better leverage our operational capabilities,” said Scott Rudolph, chief executive officer of Piping Rock Health Products. “We’re excited to announce the opening of this facility because it allows us to better serve our customers and be more efficient. Our initial plan is to start warehousing and shipping with future expansion plans in subsequent years. This central location gives us flexibility by enhancing our shipping access points throughout the country. We will be able to better serve our customers by cutting down on transit times and reacting quicker to our customer needs.”

With the opening of this new facility, Piping Rock Health Products was officially recognized by the state of Ohio with the Locate Award. They were chosen in honor of their commitment to grow business and help fuel the local economy in Aurora.

The company said it is continuing to invest and build their infrastructure for future growth by purchasing additional facilities across the United States for an expanded footprint in the coming years.

“We are investing in building for the future, so we are ready to react quickly to increases in demand. The growth of our company continues to reach unprecedented levels, so we need to look ahead to stay ahead. While many companies today are consolidating and outsourcing to cut overhead costs, we are looking to invest in our future and our associates, for long term healthy growth,” added Rudolph. These new facilities that are already underway are set to be announced in 2020.
