LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets Inc. has promoted Joseph DiBenedetto to vice president of its Atlanta division, effective January 1, 2011.

Publix Super Markets Inc. has promoted Joseph DiBenedetto to vice president of its Atlanta division, effective January 1, 2011.

DiBenedetto began his career at the chain as a front-service clerk in 1975 and became a store manager in 1986.

He was promoted to district manager in 1992, and became a regional director in the Atlanta division in June 1995.
