WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Raley’s has promoted two executives — Craig Benson and Levi Wingo — as part of what the company said are moves made to help the regional supermarket chain achieve its purpose of changing the way the world eats, one plate at a time.

Benson has been named senior vice president and head of technology. The position gives him a key role in developing and executing Raley’s strategic plan and in expanding its digital capabilities. He is part of a team charged with enhancing the company’s technology offerings on behalf of customers and applying those capabilities in ways that make the shopping experience more memorable.

Wingo has been named vice president of operations. Since joining Raley’s in 2002, he has held many leadership positions. In 2018 Wingo was promoted to executive director of store operations, a title he held until his latest promotion.

Wingo led the development of Market 5-ONE-5, a store format introduced three years ago featuring fresh, nutritious and affordable food and information resources designed to help shoppers live healthy, vital lives by taking the guesswork out of nutrition.

“We are fortunate to have such experienced and proven leaders in Craig and Levi,” said Keith Knopf, Raley’s president and chief executive officer. “Both epitomize servant leadership and Raley’s family values.”
