SHELTON, Conn. — TABS Group has extended its contract with Unilever to provide its Total Store Analytics Service.

TABS Group has extended its contract with Unilever to provide its Total Store Analytics Service.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Jeffery Joyner, senior executive and partner at market research and consulting firm TABS Group, said Unilever also will be implementing TABS INSIGHT, the consultancy’s new visual category management solution, in addition to the Total Store Analytics platform.

"Working in concert, we are enhancing retailers’ ability to execute accurate and timely decisions leading to incremental sales and profits," Joyner explained.

TABS Group president and founder Kurt Jetta commented, "We are excited to enhance our deliverables as we assist Unilever with its retail engagement. We are committed to assist Unilever in all matters related to advanced selling and retail support."

Kimberly Senter, director of category management at Unilever, stated that each new TABS application "adds additional insights to our excellent retail business solutions."

"In the initial programs with some of our customers," Senter said, "the response to this new capability has exceeded all expectations — as strong as anything we’ve experienced with respect to category management capabilities."

Lisa Klauser, vice president of consumer and customer solutions for Unilever, noted that the consumer products giant’s work in adjacency optimization, space allocation, aisle lead and profitability has enabled it to partner with customers on cross-category initiatives to drive mutual profitable growth. "Each has reacted very favorably to TABS Total Store Analytics," she added. "We are confident we can take collaboration with our customers to new and deeper levels."
