Giant spotlights minority-owned businesses

LANDOVER, Md. —Ahold Delhaize USA’s Giant Food grocery chain is rolling out updated shelf labels that help customers choose products produced by businesses owned by women or people who are Black, Asian-Indian, Hispanic, LGBT, Asian-Pacific, or Veterans. Over 3,100 products, representing 218 businesses, will be called out with the updated shelf labels beginning in January.
