Target teaming with vineyard vines brand

MINNEAPOLIS — Target is teaming up with the casual apparel brand vineyard vines to offer a limited-edition collection of clothing, accessories and home goods. The line is set to debut in the retailer’s stores and on its website on May 18, and will be available through July 13, or while supplies last.

Target has had success with such limited run partnerships in the past, including with Lily Pulitzer in 2015 and Marimekko in 2016.

“Vineyard vines is a brand that our guests know and love, and one that exemplifies our shared sense of optimism and joy through their use of bold colors and prints,” Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, said in a statement. “We worked closely with the vineyard vines team to create a collection of well-designed, affordable items that are meant to bring people together, whether it’s for a shared meal with friends or a family trip to the beach. Launching just as summer kicks off, this is the perfect collection to help our guests create lasting memories with family and friends, all season long.”

The exclusive Target collection 300 items across home and outdoor goods, apparel, accessories and swim. Prices will range from $2 to $120, with most items under $35. Many of the home and home and outdoor goods products are new to the vineyard vines brand, which was founded in 1998 and was inspired by summers on Martha’s Vineyard. The vineyard vines brand is sold at more than 100 of the company’s own stores, as well as in hundreds of department and specialty stores.
