HAMMOND, La. — Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. has extended its fuel savings reward program to shoppers using its new Customer Reward Card (CRC) in Louisiana.

Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. has extended its fuel savings reward program to shoppers using its new Customer Reward Card (CRC) in Louisiana.

Customers who use the card to shop at any of the chain’s 54 stores in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas can participate in Winn-Dixie’s fuelperks! Rewards program at participating Shell stations.

Under the program, for every $50 in qualified purchases customers make using the CRC, they receive a savings of 5 cents per gallon of gasoline, redeemable at any of more than 125 participating Shell stations. The rewards, moreover, are ‘stackable’ — the more participants spend, the more savings they earn. If a customer spends $100, for example, she or he earns 10 cents per gallon; if the purchase is $150, then the savings are 15 cents per gallon.

"We invite shoppers to go to their neighborhood Winn-Dixie to signup for their new Customer Reward Card and begin earning fuelperks! Rewards today," says Joey Medina, vice president of the New Orleans region for Winn-Dixie. "Customers in our Jacksonville, Fla. and Panama City, Fla. markets, where we are currently running this program, have already saved more than $4.6 million on gas with fuelperks! Rewards."
