SweetSpot Labs launches feminine hygiene collection
HALIFAX, Nova Scotia — SweetSpot Labs is adding a collection of natural, pH balanced washes and on-the-go wipes to the feminine hygiene aisle at Target Corp.’s stores and website.

The company notes that the clinically tested and gynecologist-recommended collection is priced between $2.99 and $11.99. The products are SweetSpot Labs Gentle Washes, SweetSpot Labs On-the-Go Wipes and SweetSpot Labs On-the-Go Wipettes.

The line is available in three scents — Grapefruit Verbena, Vanilla Blossom and Neroli ­Mandarin.

“It’s 2016, it’s time for a new paradigm in feminine body care. Today’s women are bright, fearless and very well educated about health, wellness and their bodies. But the feminine hygiene industry hasn’t changed much since the 1970s — and has historically been run by men,” says Amy Gordinier-Regan, chief executive officer of SweetSpot. “SweetSpot Labs is made by women, for women and is more than pink packaging and traditional scents. What makes us different is that we formulated the line with a woman’s chemistry in mind and don’t use glycerin — a sugar-based ingredient that yeast loves.”
