Albertsons launches Mix-and-Match meal solution

BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons Cos. is aiming to raise the bar on family dinners with its latest own brand introduction, which aims to make picking and preparing meals easy.

The new Signature SELECT Mix + Match meal solution is designed for utmost convenience, saving time for busy families both in the store and in the kitchen. This innovative line of frozen entrees, sides, and vegetables is a game-changer, because any items from the line can be cooked together in a standard oven at 375 degrees, in about 35 minutes. This approach not only simplifies meal preparation but also significantly cuts down on clean-up time.

The Signature SELECT Mix + Match offers a range of classic meal combinations that don’t compromise on taste or flavor. Customers can choose from a variety of entrees such as Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Meatloaf with Sweet & Spicy Glaze, and Southern Style BBQ Pulled Pork. The sides include options like Homestyle Mac & Cheese and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, while the veggie selections range from Honey Glazed Carrots to Mashed Cauliflower with Chives.

Now available at 1,900 Albertsons Cos. stores, including Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, ACME, and Shaw’s, the Mix + Match meal solution is designed to feed a family of four at an exceptional value, the retailer says, arguing that this launch is not just about variety and ease; it’s also about making quality meals accessible to more families.

The Mix + Match meal solution is the latest innovation under Signature SELECT, Albertsons Cos.’ largest Own Brand. Earlier this year, the company rebranded its Signature family of brands under the master brand Signature SELECT. This rebranding included a modern logo, bold packaging, and a new marketing campaign aimed at building an emotional connection with customers. Signature SELECT is part of the Own Brands portfolio, which features household names like O Organics, Open Nature, and Lucerne.
