WILTON, Conn. — Beiersdorf Inc. has promoted Bill Graham to the position of president and general manager.

Beiersdorf Inc. has promoted Bill Graham to the position of president and general manager.

The skin care, personal care and cosmetics company said that in the new post Graham will have responsibility for the strategic direction growth and success of the company, which is an affiliate of Hamburg, Germany-based Beiersdorf AG.

Graham had been vice president of sales since 2007 and during that time the company had achieved significant sales growth, improved its retail presence and strengrthened its relationships with U.S. customers.

Before joining Beiersdorf, he had held a number of senior leadership positions at Novartis Consumer Healthcare, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Unilever.

“Bill’s ability to deliver results has made him instrumental in making Beiersdorf the fastest-growing skin care company in the U.S.,” said Peter Feld, executive board member for Europe and North America at Beiersdorf AG. “I am extremely confident that he will continue to be an important leader in Beiersdorf’s future success.”
