Enjoy Life Foods is reaching out to Millennial consumers, the demographic driving the growth of the “free-from” food category, by partnering with three smart phone apps.

Ibotta is a loyalty app that offers rebates on purchases. ContentChecked is a nutrition and food allergy research app, and Ingredient 1 is an app that promises to provide label transparency for thousands of specialty foods.

By integrating with the new technologies, the brand hopes to better meet the needs of consumers ages 18 to 34.

"Millennials are the driving force behind the free-from boom, and with 60% of the demographic keeping potentially harmful ingredients in mind when purchasing their food, it was important that Enjoy Life position itself early on to reach them where they gain most of their product knowledge — on their mobile devices," said Joel Warady, chief sales and marketing officer of Enjoy Life Foods. "Enjoy Life prides itself on being a leader in the Free-From category, and has worked tirelessly to be the driving brand owning the number one sub-category of free-from, allergy-friendly foods."

The digital and mobile technology integrations follow Enjoy Life’s recent leadership expansion, which is meant to bolster major growth across North America.
