GOUVERNEUR, N.Y. — KPH Healthcare Services Inc., formerly Kinney Drugs, has promoted Bridget-ann Hart to president and chief executive officer.

KPH Healthcare Services Inc., formerly Kinney Drugs, has promoted Bridget-ann Hart to president and chief executive officer.

She succeeds chairman and CEO Craig Painter, who will now serve as executive chairman of the board.

The regional drug chain said that Hart, previously president of Kinney Health Care Services, will oversee the daily operations of KPH Healthcare Services.

KPH also noted that Painter will remain actively engaged as chairman and will continue to be involved in the development of new business model strategies.

"Bridget is a dynamic leader who has the vision, the values and the passion to help lead our company into the future," Painter said in a statement. "With Bridget’s proven track record of success, we are confident that she will drive future growth and long-term value for our company."

Kinney announced its corporate name change last month.
