The transaction primarily involves a Distagro warehouse in Boucherville that mainly supplies restaurant chains and convenience stores. Metro will continue to operate a warehouse in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli that serves the Marché Ami, Marché Extra, Service, Servi Express and Dépanneur Gem banners that have been supplied by Distagro.

The deal is expected to close around mid-December, subject to the usual closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
