P2 Probiotics advances soil-based alternatives

FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. — Disrupter of the status quo, change agent for humanity, product developer, dog Mom, public health educator, public speaker, rule breaker and expert in bacteria and probiotics . . . meet Heather Holmes, founder of Eco Balanced Technologies, a health company that is turning the consumer market on its head.

Every day we hear about bacteria, fungus or mold wreaking havoc on our health. Recently, there was an outbreak of listeria on peaches and an outbreak of salmonella on cantaloupes, both of which were recalled. The days of antibiotics and antibacterials are numbered, as resistant bacteria cause detrimental consequences for us and the environments where we eat, work, play and live. This is why Eco Balanced Technologies’ P2 Probiotic Power products are a game changer for people, pets and the planet.

The probiotic technology in P2 Probiotic products is advanced far beyond what is currently in products today, and here’s why.  Fourteen years ago, Holmes was looking for a cure for her sinus infections, with no luck. Taking antibiotics six times a year for 20 years wreaked havoc on her gut; she got chronic yeast- and urinary-tract infections. A friend suggested acidophilus, which seemed to offer some relief. This peaked her curiosity, and she began researching probiotics.

Holmes discovered there were two types of probiotics; plant-based, which are fragile, temperature-sensitive and require sugar to stay alive; and soil-based, which are hearty warriors that live between 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 120 degrees Fahrenheit, are stronger than superbugs like salmonella, MRSA, E.coli and staph, and don’t need sugar to stay alive. She also discovered that what was causing her sinus infections was something we know as the plaque on our teeth. It is called biofilm, and it’s actually responsible for 80% of all disease and infection.

With the discovery of what caused her sinus infections, Holmes left a 20-year career in medical devices to become a pioneer in soil-based probiotic technology that addresses biofilm. After years of livestock testing, she had proof that her probiotic technology was able to eliminate antibiotics, was able to create a healthier environment for the animals and proved that she could achieve a superior microscopic clean to chemicals – without killing any bacteria.

This became the basis for the P2 Probiotic consumer line.

There is a great need to elevate consumer products to a new level – to get away from the chemicals that harm us, as well as the natural me-too products that do not go to the source of issues. P2 Probiotic Power’s line of soil-based probiotic home cleaners, body care and pet care products are the first and only to assist people in repopulating good bacteria in, on and around them, creating a true biodome of health.

P2 Probiotic products offer people a safer and more efficacious way to clean surfaces, air, skin and teeth. The company has some new products coming into the marketplace in 2024, including a wound care spray, a mold remediator and baby wipes.
