The Sam’s Club Travel app can help users save on lodging, car rentals and other travel-related costs, the company noted.

"Sam’s Club members now have access to simplified travel search and lightning-fast booking capabilities through a dedicated app right on their iOS or Android devices," according to Jamie Iannone, president and chief executive officer of SamsClub.com. "Our app combines massive travel inventory and weekly deals to help members save time and money, whether they’re planning a business trip or a well-deserved vacation."

The app can be downloaded to mobile devices through the iOS App Store and Google Play, Sam’s noted, and it presents members with the following features:
• Simplified search that lets travelers sort or filter results by price, star rating, Trip Advisor review count or distance.
• Last minute deals tab to help travelers seeking a hotel find same day or next day savings of up to 60% off of retail prices.
• Comprehensive inventory, with booking options through 40,000 hotels in more than 4,500 cities, as well as reservations on vacation homes, flights and car rentals at 18 car rental brands with 25,000 pickup locations worldwide.
• Faster booking, featuring a card-imaging feature that auto-populates card information.
• Easy access to reservations.
• Members support online and through the Sam’s Club Travel call center, which supports travel changes such as cancellations due to weather.
• Global adaptability that permits users to switch the app language, theme and currency.

Sam’s Club Travel was launched on SamsClub.com in June in collaboration with Tourico Holidays, a wholesale travel service.
