STADA joins No Kid Hungry in honoring hunger heroes

SUMMIT, N.J. — STADA Corp., the U.S. division of STADA, an international pharmaceutical and consumer health company is joining No Kid Hungry in honoring hunger heroes across America. From bus drivers and school cafeteria staff to food bank volunteers, every one of these people helps children in their communities get the meals they need to live their lives to the fullest. Raising awareness of hunger heroes is part of STADA Corp’s continued partnership with No Kid Hungry, on behalf of STADA’s two brands, Bio360 and Nuvia, which can help provide up to 1.5 million meals to kids in need.

The campaign will honor these champions by collecting and sharing Notes of Thanks, messages that convey endless gratitude for their everyday heroics. On April 28, No Kid Hungry will open their digital “thank you” board where the public can leave their notes of thanks. In addition, people can join in on Twitter on Friday, May 7 from 3:00-5:00 ET, and say thank you by using the hashtag #ThankAHungerHero and tagging @NoKidHungry.

In the wake of the coronavirus, millions of children and their families in the United States are facing poverty and hunger. Traditionally, many kids have relied on the meals they get at school each day. But even as school staff works hard to provide healthy food while school buildings are closed, too many children are missing the meals they need. Through a combination of emergency grants, strategic assistance, advocacy and awareness, No Kid Hungry is ensuring these kids are fed, both during the pandemic and in the recovery to follow.

“So often the work of these hunger heroes happens behind the scenes,” said Diana Hovey, senior vice president at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign. “During these times of uncertainty, kids need kindness and a healthy meal more than ever, and we want to publicly thank these incredible people who are stepping up to the plate. We really cannot thank them enough.”
