Actress and singer Hilary Duff helps promote giveaway

MINNEAPOLIS — Target Corp. today announced a “one-of-a-kind shopping spree” for 500 enrollees in the Target Circle loyalty program,

Each winner in the Target Circle Holiday Giveaway sweepstakes will receive $500 in credit that can be used at any Target store or at Target.com. Winners also get a one-year subscription to the retailer’s Shipt delivery service.

“It’s a fun way for guests to stock up on toys, gifts and all the essentials for the busy holiday season,” said Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for Target.

Target Circle members enrolled as of December 8 are eligible to win.

Target also said it has partnered with actress, singer, and businesswoman Hilary Duff, who recently surprised shoppers at a Target store in Los Angeles. “It was so exciting to give $500 GiftCards to Target Circle members and make an impact for families during the holiday season,” Duff said in a statement.

Target said sweepstakes winners will be chosen at random on or around December 12, with notifications sent to the email address associated with their Target.com account. After the potential winner responds to the email and their eligibility is confirmed, $500 in Target Circle earnings will appear in their in-app Target Circle wallet.

The Target Circle earnings can be used like cash at Target for online and in-store purchases. If a winner already has a Shipt membership, they can easily easily transfer the free one-year subscription to someone else.
