Consumers shopping Target.com from a mobile device or computer can get their items the same day at a store. Other chains including Walmart, Best Buy Stores Inc. and Sears Holdings Corp. have similar services.

Target also for the first time will have TV commercials focusing on Cyber Week and Cyber Monday — the first weekday after Black Friday.

A multichannel campaign themed "My Kind of Holiday" will run on TV and radio, in stores and catalogs, and via digital and social media. Consumers are invited to join the conversation by using the hash tag #MyKindofHoliday.

"My Kind of Holiday was inspired by guests’ stories about holiday traditions and the unique and personal ways they celebrate throughout the season," said Target chief marketing officer Jeff Jones. "This campaign will inspire people with products and ideas, compel them with unbeatable prices and enable them to shop Target through the most digitally enabled effort in our history."

The combination of Target’s Holiday Price Match, Cartwheel and REDcard Rewards promises shoppers "unbeatable prices."

For the second year, the discounter is extending the time frame of its price match policy for the holiday season beyond the typical seven-day window. If a customer purchases a qualifying item between November 1 and December 21 and then finds it for less at Target.com, in a local competitor’s printed ad or at selected online retailers, Target will match that price.

Cartwheel, which Target launched in May, is an app allowing users to choose from hundreds of offers, including deals for holiday gifts like toys, electronics and entertainment, to personalize their savings. Additionally, throughout the season, shoppers will find one-day-only deals of 30% to 50% off giftable items.

The Target REDcard, which includes both a debit and credit option, offers year-round savings. During the holidays, REDcard holders will continue to save an extra 5% on almost all card purchases and receive free shipping on Target.com.
