Dollar General to construct new DC

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General Corp. has acquired land in Jackson, Ga., that will serve as the location for a new 1 million-square-foot distribution center. The deep discount retailer announced the purchase earlier this month. The central Georgia site is situated in both Butts and Spalding counties. Plans call for construction to begin as early
